Keep Your House Rabbit Safe: RHDV2 Vaccine

Did you know, Sauk Point Veterinary Clinic offers the first ever rabbit vaccine to protect your house rabbit against RHDV2 (Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus). The vaccine was approved at the end of last year and is made by Medgene Labs located in South Dakota. Rabbits require an initial vaccine followed by a booster 21 days later; then, annually thereafter. Those rabbits who participated in our rabbit vaccine clinic last year will be due for their annual vaccine April 2023. Schedule an annual exam to discuss with Dr. Laura or Dr. Molly if your rabbit is at risk. Learn more here
